These terms apply when you use the Slime in the Coconut website: recipes, guides, videos, and games. By using the site you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. There is nothing for sale here; this is a free content site.

Using the site

The site is free to use for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Don't misuse it; for example, don't try to break it, scrape it at scale, or use it in any unlawful way. The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 16.

Recipe & DIY safety: please read

Our slime recipes and guides are provided for fun and education. Making slime involves everyday household ingredients: glue, and activators such as contact-lens solution, borax, or liquid starch, which can irritate skin and eyes and are not safe to eat. You follow any recipe at your own risk. Please:

• Adults should supervise children at all times, and handle activators (especially borax) themselves.
• Never eat slime or its ingredients, and keep them away from mouths, eyes, babies and pets.
• Wash hands after playing, and stop if anyone has a skin reaction. If irritation persists or anything is swallowed, seek medical advice.

We are not responsible for any injury, damage, or reaction resulting from making or using slime or following any content on this site.

Third-party content

The site embeds and links to videos and pages we don't control (for example YouTube clips). We're not responsible for third-party content, and those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Embedded clips remain the property of their creators.

Intellectual property

The Slime in the Coconut name, logo, site design, written recipes, guides and graphics are owned by Slime in the Coconut and may not be copied or republished without permission. You're welcome to make our slime recipes at home for your own use; just don't repost our text or images as your own.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slime in the Coconut is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, except where your local law gives you a non-waivable right to a different venue.
