- Too sticky and stringy: not enough activator. Add saline 1/4 teaspoon at a time and knead well between each; sticky slime almost always needs a touch more, not less.
- Too stiff, rubbery, or breaking apart: too much activator. You can't remove it, but kneading in a small squirt of warm water or a little fresh glue softens it back down.
- Won't stretch, snaps immediately: it's cold or over-activated. Warm it in your hands for 30 seconds first, and if it still snaps, work in a bit more glue.
